Pavels Nazarovs has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Pavels currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Naco Technologies since February 2021. Previously, Pavels worked at Schaeffler as a Surface Technology Specialist from December 2015 to July 2020, where they focused on solving complex issues related to materials engineering, materials testing, and PVD equipment. Prior to that, they worked at Naco Technologies as a PVD Engineer from April 2012 to December 2015. During their time there, they managed a collaborative project with the University of Latvia and Riga Technical University and published several papers on tribological coatings while also receiving a patent. Pavels started their career as a Science Assistant at the University of Latvia in September 2007, where they initially worked as a programming engineer for crystal growth modeling and then transferred to a theoretical physics group. Before that, they worked at the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) as a PVD Engineer from September 2006 to January 2009, focusing on EXAFS spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Additionally, they had a brief role as a Medical Equipment Engineer at BioSan from January 2006 to August 2006, where they contributed to the development of a low-price DNA-chip scanner on a part-time contract. Overall, Pavels Nazarovs has accumulated a wide range of expertise and knowledge in technology, materials engineering, and theoretical physics throughout their career.
Pavels Nazarovs completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Latvijas Universitate, with the program lasting from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from the same university, which was completed from 2008 to 2010.
