Chris Franken has extensive experience in college admissions and educational leadership. As an Admissions Associate at the University of Minnesota since September 2018, Chris has also served as the Chair of the MACAC Strategic Planning Committee for the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling since February 2019. In addition, Chris acts as the Advanced Placement Coordinator at Eastview Senior High School and contributes to the National Association for College Admission Counseling's Current Trends & Future Issues Committee. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Eastview High School - ISD 196 as the Director of College Planning & Assessment until retirement in June 2019 and roles as College Counselor for Gifted & Talented students. Chris held prominent positions within the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling, including Chair of the Leadership Development Program and Past President. Academic credentials include an Ed.S. in Educational Administration and an M.S. in Educational Leadership, both from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
