Karim Shebani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. As the CEO and Co-Founder of NABTA Co since August 2023, Karim focuses on developing scalable carbon removal solutions that convert biowaste into carbon-negative soil conditioners, addressing critical issues in food security and water scarcity. Previously, as Manager of Project Development and Commercial at Crescent Petroleum from June 2020 to August 2024, Karim concentrated on the growth of natural gas assets and renewable opportunities. Additionally, during tenure as Senior Project Engineer at Crescent Petroleum Company from November 2012 to July 2018, Karim developed strategic natural gas infrastructure plans for the Kurdish Region of Iraq and worked on significant projects in the UAE. Karim holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and multiple degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
