Austin Vanderpool has gained extensive experience in the construction industry through a series of progressively advanced roles. Austin began their career as a Painter at College Works Painting in 2012, before working as a Carpenter/Laborer at Constructing Kansas City, LLC in 2013. In 2014, they were an intern for Crossland Construction Company, Inc. as a General Laborer. In 2015, Vanderpool worked as a Project Engineer Intern at Performance Contracting, Inc., where they gained experience in pricing change orders, purchase orders, billings, submittals, production tracking, and material takeoff. In 2016, they worked as a Large Construction Operations Intern at U.S. Engineering Company, where they were involved in various health care and religious commercial projects, focusing on O&M manuals, material takeoff, production tracking, RFIs, and design coordination. In the same year, they worked as a Project Field Engineer at Torgeson Electric Co, assisting with daily duties and field installation at a $70 million casino & hotel, including labor/productivity tracking, material takeoff, safety audits, and layout. Vanderpool joined Nabholz Corporation in 2017 as a Project Engineer, before being promoted to Assistant Project Manager in 2020 and subsequently to Project Manager in 2022.

Austin Vanderpool attended Pittsburg State University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree with a field of study in Construction Engineering. In addition to their degree, Austin has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In June 2015, they received certifications in Aerial Work Platform and Rough-Terrain Forklift. In April 2015, they became a Field Testing Technician-Grade 1 through the American Concrete Institute and obtained an OSHA 30-Hour certification. Lastly, in December 2022, Austin obtained two certifications from Procore Technologies: Procore Certified as a Project Manager in Project Management and Procore Certified as a Project Manager at GC in Financial Management.
