Yngvild Ingels has extensive experience in public service and crisis management, currently serving as a member of parliament for N-VA since June 2019. Prior to this role, Yngvild held various significant positions including Regeringscommissaris for N.V. Astrid with the Federale Regering from January 2015 to February 2019, and Adjunct kabinetschef for Binnenlandse Zaken from June 2015 to December 2018. Yngvild also contributed as an advisor in crisis management at the Kabinet of the Vice Premier and Minister of Safety and Interior Affairs from November 2014 to December 2018, and worked at the Federal Crisiscentre from September 2012 to October 2014. Earlier career highlights include project management in emergency planning with the Federal government’s crisis centre and counseling at the Belgian Red Cross. Yngvild Ingels earned a master's degree in sociology from Ghent University and a degree in Economics and Mathematics from lyceum Onze lieve vrouw van Vlaanderen Kortrijk.
