Frances McGaffey has extensive experience in public policy and healthcare consulting. Currently serving as an Associate Manager at The Pew Charitable Trusts since July 2014, Frances conducts actionable research on the opioid crisis to aid state and federal responses. Prior experience includes serving as a Get Covered America Fall Fellow at Enroll America, where Frances mobilized grassroots efforts to enroll the uninsured, and as an Administrative Supervisor at FTI Center for Healthcare Economics and Policy, providing research and administrative support. Frances started their career as an Executive Assistant at Compass Lexecon, assisting the Vice-Chairman, and as a Foundation Research Fellow & Administrative Coordinator for the Women's Campaign Forum, focusing on women's political issues. Frances holds a Master of Public Policy in Health Policy from The George Washington University and a BA in Political Science from Vassar College.
