Valentyn Kropov has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Valentyn currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at N-iX, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SoftServe for several years, starting as a Full-Stack Software Engineer and progressing to roles such as Vice President, Retail & FinTech and Associate Vice President, Global Retail, Client Success Leader. Within SoftServe, they were responsible for delivering numerous projects for multiple customers simultaneously, including projects in AI/ML, Cloud, Big Data, Robotics, and app development. Valentyn also has experience in different domains such as Retail (e-comm, big box, grocery, M&M, retail-tech) and FinTech (banks, insurance, NFT, blockchain).

Before joining SoftServe, Valentyn worked at GlobalLogic as the Head of Database Center of Excellence, Product Owner, and Engineering Manager/Sr. Oracle DBA. Valentyn also worked at Incom as a Sr. Oracle DBA, Softheme as a Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Developer, and Softline as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.

Valentyn began their career at the Financial Department of Donetsk State University as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.

Valentyn Kropov obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Donetsk National University from 2001 to 2006. In 2018 to 2019, they attended Rutgers Business School. In 2019, they obtained an MBA degree from Rutgers Business School. Additionally, they have received various certifications from institutions such as SoftServe, Cloudera, and Oracle in different years.
