Maksym Bilan has a long history of software engineering experience. Maksym started their career in 2008 as a Statistical SAS Programmer/Analyst at CS Ltd. In 2009, they began developing and launching their own mobile projects for Apple platforms, resulting in over 500k downloads. In 2011, they joined Gameloft as a C++ Game Developer, and in 2013 they became an iOS Software Engineer at SweetSoft. Maksym then moved to Factorial Complexity in 2014 as an iOS Software Engineer. In 2015, they began working at Upwork as a Software Engineering Manager, and also as a Software Engineer. Finally, in 2019, they joined MySwimPro, Inc. as a Software Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer.

Maksym Bilan began their educational journey in 2005 at Kharkiv Patent Computer College, where they earned a Junior Specialist degree in Computer-Aided Management Systems Software Engineer. Maksym then attended Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics from 2009 to 2012, during which time they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Finally, they received a Specialist's degree in Information Managing Systems and Technologies from the same university from 2012 to 2013.
