Ben Salami began their career in 2004 as a Researcher at the University of Guelph. In 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer at IBM. In 2013, they founded Canadian Mortgage App, a mobile app that has helped close to a million users get pre-qualified and connect with legendary mortgage advisors. Ben also founded Bendigi Technologies Inc., a boutique software development firm in Toronto. In 2016, they took on the role of Interim CTO at MySway. In 2017, they were appointed CTO of Bloom: A Social Network for Professional Women.
Ben Salami obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honour) in Computer Science from Brock University between 2000 and 2004. Ben then went on to earn a Master's Degree (MSc.) in Computer Security from the University of Guelph between 2004 and 2006.
