Ian Prunty has a diverse work experience beginning in 2005 as a Staffer for Harold Ford Jr. for U.S. Senate. In 2007, they became a Business Development Specialist for the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Student at Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management, while also working as an MBA Summer Intern- Market Research at EnerNOC in 2010. In 2011, they became a Sales Executive at Opower and an Intern & Internal Consultant, Strategy & External Affairs at the Tennessee Valley Authority. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Sales Director and Sales Executive at Comfy (by Building Robotics) before joining Myst AI in 2021 as a Business Development Manager. In 2023, they joined Snowflake as an Account Executive following the acquisition of Myst. AI.

Ian Prunty received their M.B.A from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management in 2011, where they studied Marketing and Sustainability. Ian graduated from DePauw University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Asian Studies. Ian also attended Vanderbilt University prior to that.
