Thomas Retornaz, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Development Engineer in Machine Learning at MyScript since January 2020, specializing in integrating Deep Learning frameworks into legacy SDKs and optimizing deep learning models. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Senior Development Engineer in Vision/Machine Learning and R&D Manager at Mitek Systems, where responsibilities included industrializing R&D prototypes and managing a team. Earlier experience includes research roles at the Paris School of Mines and contributions to projects at Hubert Curien lab and INSERM U 318. Thomas earned a PhD in Research Engineering in Image Processing from Mines Paris - PSL and a Master of Science in Optics, Image Processing, and Applied Mathematics from TELECOM Saint-Etienne.
