James Cassata has a strong background in information security and has held various roles throughout their career. James is currently working as a Cloud Security Solutions Architect at Myriad360, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, James worked at Nexo Group, LLC as a Senior Information Security Advisor from August 2018 to March 2023. At Finger Lakes Performing Provider System, they served as an Information Security Analyst & Systems Administrator from November 2015 to August 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing various environments and tools such as DUO Multi-Factor Authentication, Okta Single Sign On (SSO) IDP, SAS Analytics Software, Tableau Server, ESET Antivirus, and WSUS & 3rd party Software Patching. Before that, they worked as a PC Technician at Innovative Solutions from March 2014 to November 2015. James holds certifications in CISSP and CCSP.

James Cassata, CISSP, CCSP completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Monroe Community College from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued an Electrical Engineering Science degree at the same college from 2011 to 2014, specializing in Engineering. Alongside their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications. James became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in March 2022 and a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) in March 2023, both from (ISC)². In addition, they hold certifications in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA (obtained in July 2020), SASE Professional from Palo Alto Networks (obtained in June 2023), and Zero Trust Certified Architect (ZTCA) from Zscaler (obtained in May 2023). James has also completed several courses through Lacework Shield Academy, including Lacework Shield Associate, Lacework Shield Foundational, and Lacework Shield Academy Cloud Security Assessment.
