Camiel Slaats has a diverse work experience in various companies and industries. Camiel started their career in 1997 at Procter & Gamble, where they held roles in brand and sales management. Camiel then moved to Nike in 2002, where they worked in various positions including business manager, football apparel director, and general manager for the Middle East, Africa, and European distributors. In 2009, Slaats joined G-Star as a board member responsible for sales, retail, e-commerce, and geographies. Camiel later served as CEO of Vingino from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Slaats is the CEO of MYLAPS Sports Technology, a global leader in automated sports timing for major events like IRONMAN, NASCAR, and Olympics. Camiel has also served as chairman and member of the advisory board for several companies.
Camiel Slaats completed a Masters degree in Veterinary at Utrecht University from 1990 to 1997. In 2004, they attended INSEAD briefly, studying International Finance but did not complete a degree.
