Joe Walker, MSIE, CISSP, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Technology Services & Compliance at MyHealth Access Network, where roles include HIPAA Security Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer. In addition, Joe is the Central Region Coordinator for the Patient-Centered Data Home within the Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative, contributing to the development of governance and technical frameworks for national data sharing. Previously, Joe has held positions as an adjunct instructor at Brown Mackie College and ITT Technical Institute, and worked as a consultant for small to medium-sized businesses. Joe's earlier experience also includes a role as a Health Network Analyst at the University of Oklahoma and a Systems Analyst III position at Sprint Nextel Inc. Joe holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
