Ahmed Abdelkader has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2014. Ahmed began their career as a Network Engineer at National Technology Group in 2014, then moved to IT Operations and Architecture at Schüco International KG in 2016. In 2020, they joined Amazon as a Senior IT Engineer, where they designed and developed an internal Web App as a digital inventory control system, which has been deployed to 6 Amazon sites, serving more than 10,000 active users, and achieved 70% reduction in lost assets. Ahmed also designed and developed APWatch, an access-point monitoring Web Service to tackle frequent wireless issues by continuously validating all access-points in Amazon Sites. In 2021, they became Co-Founder/ CTO of MygenoMD, and in 2022 they joined everstox as a Senior Software Engineer - Backend.
Ahmed Abdelkader has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Paderborn University, which they completed in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computers and Systems Engineering from Mansoura University in 2011. Abdelkader has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn and Microsoft, such as Software Architecture Foundations, Docker on AWS, Advanced Python: Working with Databases, Full Stack Web Development with Flask, Python Essential Training, and from Cisco, CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate (Exam 640-802). Additionally, they have a MCP: Server Virtualization with Hyper-V and System Center Specialist (Exam 74-409) certification from Microsoft, which they obtained in 2014.
