John Rimbos has a diverse work experience in the lighting industry. John started in General Electric Lighting in 1990 and worked as a Manager until 2003. Later, they worked as a District Manager in Crescent Electric Supply from 2003 to 2009. John then became a National Sales Manager in Luminus Devices from 2009 to 2011 and then as a Regional Manager in Hatch Lighting from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they were a National Sales Manager in TerraLUX Inc., responsible for sales leadership in North America. John also held positions at Cree as Director Intelligent Lighting from December 2015 to November 2016 and as National Sales from March 2015 to December 2015. Subsequently, they worked as the Principal in R&D Lighting and Controls from November 2016 to December 2019. John was then promoted as the Director - National and Strategic Accounts in KSA Lighting & Controls from December 2019 to October 2021. Currently, John Rimbos is the VP - Sales and Marketing in Myers Emergency Power Systems.

John Rimbos obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University between 1984 and 1988.
