Ajay Friesen has diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ajay currently serves as the Vice President of Products at Myers Emergency Power Systems since November 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Product and Marketing at Salient Energy from October 2021 to November 2023.

Ajay also has experience as a Board Member at SKYTOWN PRESCHOOL INC from May 2018 to April 2023, where they successfully managed a large-scale relocation project.

In their previous tenure at SunPower Corporation, Ajay held multiple positions, including Director of Product Management, Senior Technical Product Manager, Senior Manager of Commercial Systems Integration, Commercial Solar Solutions Architect, Product Engineering Manager, and Product Engineer. Their responsibilities in these roles ranged from leading cross-functional teams, managing product development and engineering, and driving technical innovation.

Additionally, Ajay served as a Financial Advisory Board Member at the City of El Cerrito from January 2020 to August 2020, where they provided financial expertise and guidance to the City Council.

Earlier in their career, Ajay worked as an Aerospace Engineer at Cadorath Aerospace from June 2006 to May 2007 and as a Handyman at Broadway Construction from May 2002 to August 2005.

Ajay Friesen attended the University of Manitoba from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Aerospace. From 2012 to 2016, they pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley Extension, obtaining a Certificate of Business Administration.
