Scott Purdon currently serves as the Head of Patient Advocacy at Myeloma UK since May 2023. Prior to this role, Scott co-founded and was the Managing Director of Kingdom Global Health Solutions, focusing on government affairs and market access from January 2021 to April 2023. Scott's extensive experience includes positions such as Head of Corporate Affairs Consultancy at Niche Science & Technology Ltd, and Senior Counsel and Director of Corporate Affairs at Cello Health Communications. Further notable roles include Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy UK and Ireland at Gilead Sciences, and Head of NHS Partnerships at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. Scott has a significant background in public policy and patient advocacy, notably during tenures at ViiV Healthcare and GSK, where strategic leadership was provided for various market access initiatives. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Aberdeen.
