Gopichand Katragadda has a long and varied work experience. Gopichand has been the Founder and CEO of Myelin Foundry since 2019, and an Independent Director of Bosch India since 2018. In 2019, they were appointed Deputy President of the Board of Trustees of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). From 2014 to 2019, they were the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Tata Companies. From 2002 to 2014, they were Managing Director of the GE India Technology Center. Gopichand was also VP of Technology and other roles at Karta Technologies from 1995 to 2002.
Gopichand Katragadda obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iowa State University between 1992 and 1996. Gopichand also received a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iowa State University between 1990 and 1992. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RV College Of Engineering between 1985 and 1990. Gopichand also attended GE Crotonville for Organizational Leadership (MDC, BMC, nominated for EDC). In 2001, they attended Texas McCombs School of Business and obtained a Community Minority Business Advancement Program (CMBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2020, they obtained an Independent Director Proficiency from Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs and an Advanced International Certificate Course on IP Asset Management from World Intellectual Property Organization - WIPO in Intellectual Property.
