Samella Watson has over 10 years of work experience, beginning in 2008 when they were a Front Office Supervisor at Hotel Allegro Chicago. In 2012, they moved to Canyon Ranch Miami Beach as a Guest Relations Supervisor. Samella then worked as a Front Office Supervisor at Caneel Bay Resort (2013) and Night Manager at The Carillon Hotel & Spa (2015). In the same year, they also worked as a Front Office Night Manager at The National Hotel Miami Beach. In 2016, they joined sbe Group as a Guest Services Manager. In 2017, they founded Sebiya and served as its Visionary & CEO. Currently, they are the Founder & CEO of Theblck.io.

Samella Watson attended Roosevelt University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management with a focus in Hospitality & Tourism.
