Donald Hammons, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Donald is currently the Executive Vice President - Business Development & Alliances (Americas/APAC) at mxHERO, a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice Chairman on the Advisory Board of Directors and Investor at mxHERO, where they played a key role in partner alignments and the go-to-market launch for enterprise initiatives. Donald was also an early-stage investor in the company.

Before joining mxHERO, Donald was the Founder/CEO of Perigee360, Inc. from October 2014 to October 2019. In this role, they focused on cloud digital transformation strategies and professional services. Donald was instrumental in building strategic alliances with Canon and Box, where they served as an SI enabler and a cloud content management evangelist.

From 2007 to 2014, Donald worked as an Independent Consultant/Appirio/Volo, holding various cloud program management and business development roles. Donald gained experience in project and program management as a freelance consultant and Salesforce Sales/Service cloud implementation leader. Donald also served as the Chief Customer Officer of Volo Solutions, Inc.

Prior to their consulting career, Donald held the position of Assistant VP for Web Services at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2004 to 2007. During this time, they led the Donald W. Reynolds Cardiovascular Clinical Research Center project, which had a significant program budget.

Donald's early career includes progressive IT project and program management roles at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Octel Messaging Division, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya Incorporated. Notably, they served as the program manager for a $200 million municipal government capital improvement program during their MBA period at UT-Dallas.

Before embarking on their professional career, Donald served in the US Navy as a Radioman First Class from 1982 to 1990.

Donald Hammons, MBA, PMP has a diverse education history. In 1986-1987, they attended Saint Leo University and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Donald then pursued further education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1991-1992, where they obtained an AA degree in General Studies - Business. Continuing their education, they attended the University of Central Arkansas from 1992 to 1994 and earned a BSE degree in Business & Marketing Technology. Finally, in 2003-2004, they attended the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas and obtained an MS MBA degree in Business.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Donald Hammons has also obtained multiple certifications. In 2018, they became Box Certified Professional through Box, and in 2020, they obtained the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification from Salesforce.
