Elio Augusto Kumoto has extensive experience in project and sales management, currently serving as Sales Manager for Marine Solutions at MWM Motores e Geradores since December 2023. Previously, Elio held multiple roles at Tupy between May 2018 and December 2023, including Project Manager in R&D and New Business Development, as well as Strategic Planning Manager focusing on process improvements in forging, castings, machining, and heat treatment. Prior experience includes a tenure as Project Manager at Gerdau from January 2007 to May 2018, where Elio conducted technical and economic feasibility studies and led significant projects in casting technology and joint ventures. Elio's career also features positions at Gerdau Summit and Aços Villares, as well as a trainee engineering role at VOITH Siemens/VOITH PAPER. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering and an MBA in Project Management from USP and FGV, respectively.
