Stephen Kennedy has over 20 years of experience in the water industry. Stephen currently serves as the Head of Digital and Innovation at MWH Treatment, where they are responsible for redefining construction in the water sector through the application of digital tools and innovative technologies. Prior to this role, Stephen worked at eight2O as the Head of Engineering and Engineering Excellence Lead, leading a team of industry partners to deliver essential work for Thames Water. Stephen also held various positions at MWH Global, including Operations Manager and Regional Proposals Manager, where they achieved significant success in securing new business opportunities. Earlier in their career, Stephen worked at Ovivo as the Integrated Solutions Group Manager, overseeing the design and installation of process solutions for the water sector in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Stephen started their career at Southern Water as a Process Engineer, where they successfully managed large-scale projects.
Stephen Kennedy completed a BSc (Hons) in Marine Environmental Chemistry at the University of Southampton from 1993 to 1996. Following that, they pursued an MRes (Master of Research) in Water Pollution Control at Cranfield University from 1996 to 1997. Lastly, in 2009 to 2010, Stephen obtained a Diploma in Management and Leadership from Red People Management.
