Bowie Miao has a diverse range of professional experience. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Sales Associate at Hollister Co. Bowie then moved on to be an Event Planning Assistant at Entertaining Asia Limited in 2015. In 2017, Bowie worked as a Recruiting Assistant at MIT Sloan School of Management, followed by a role as an Account Payable Associate at Boston Properties in early 2018. Later that year, they joined MullenLowe U.S. as a Budget & Billing Coordinator, managing billing and budgeting processes for various clients including Burger King and Capital One. In 2019, Bowie became an Operations Team Lead at Nift Networks. From 2020 to 2023, they worked as a Project Manager at Luen Wah (H.K.) Medicine Ltd, where they handled tasks such as daily operations, restructuration of online appearances, implementation and optimization of an ERP system, product management, and social media management. Currently, Bowie is a Project Manager at Muuse.

Bowie Miao attended Williston Northampton School from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their high school education. After that, they enrolled at High Point University in 2013 and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.), majoring in International Business and minoring in Chinese. In 2015, Bowie briefly studied at Bond University, focusing on International Business, Marketing, and Accounting. In October 2020, they obtained a Real Estate Salesperson certification from Freedom Trail Realty School, Inc.
