Tobias Host is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing, quality, and program management. Currently serving as Director at Mutares SE & Co. KGaA since July 2019, Tobias holds multiple leadership roles, including Head of Manufacturing, Quality and Program Management Practice and Head of Manufacturing Excellence Workstream. Prior to this, Tobias worked at BHTC from October 2012 to June 2019 as Manager of Lean Transformation & Factory Optimization, where strategic concepts for Lean and Six Sigma were implemented across six global plants. Experience at Cooper Crouse-Hinds from April 2007 to September 2012 included roles as Manager of Lean Six Sigma Europe, where cost reduction initiatives and Lean implementation were overseen across five manufacturing plants, and as Lean Six Sigma Specialist. Early career at HELLA involved responsibilities in quality performance indicators and business warehouse project leadership. Tobias holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau, Fertigungstechnik, and Qualitätsmanagement from RWTH Aachen University.
