Fabian Schlegel has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Fabian is currently working as an Associate Director of Finance at Mutares SE & Co. KGaA. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Finance Manager at the same company. Before joining Mutares, Fabian worked at Deloitte, where they served as a German Certified Tax Advisor, Manager, and Audit & Assurance professional. Fabian gained experience in various areas such as conducting annual audits, preparing financial statements, and providing audit-related advice. Fabian also had internships at Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Union AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, and Richard Bergner Holding GmbH & Co. KG, where they gained practical knowledge in auditing, tax, and financial accounting.

Fabian Schlegel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth in 2012. Fabian then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation at Universität Siegen from 2013 to 2015. In 2021, they obtained a certification as a Wirtschaftsprüfer from Wirtschaftsprüferkammer. In 2008, they started their academic journey at the University of Bayreuth, initially studying Law Studies for one year before switching to Business Administration.
