Devorah Blumberg has extensive experience in the fields of partnerships and development, programming and commercial management, and tourism and events. Devorah is currently serving as the Director of Partnerships and Development at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Prior to this, they worked at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise as the Programming and Commercial Manager for the New Zealand expo. Devorah has also held positions at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, where they served as the Acting Director for Tourism, Sectors, Regions, and Cities, and later led a strategic review project and organizational change process. Devorah has been involved in the International Association of Event Hosts as a founding steering group member and trustee. Additionally, they have held roles at New Zealand Major Events, the Rt Hon. Sir John Key's Prime Minister's Office, and the Ministry of Economic Development. Devorah'sroles have included head of New Zealand Major Events, senior strategic advisor, and tourism private secretary, among others.
Devorah Blumberg began their education in 1998 at Victoria University of Wellington, where they pursued a dual degree in BCA (Bachelor of Commerce and Administration) and BA (Bachelor of Arts) with majors in International Relations, Public Policy, Management, and Political Science. Devorah successfully completed their studies and was awarded an Honours degree with first-class distinction in 2002.
