Trip Switzer is the Vice President of Development at the Museum of Flight. Prior to their current position, they served as the Senior Director of Regional Development for Conservation International, where they were responsible for initiating the regional fundraising program to build major gift philanthropy and secure funding for unrestricted purposes, field work, policy programs, and special events. As the first full-time regional fundraiser, they established a model for similar programs in other markets and created the CI-Seattle office with staff members from various divisions.
Before their time at Conservation International, Trip Switzer was the Major Gifts Officer at Seattle University from October 2002 to July 2004. Trip began their career in advertising sales, first with Parade Magazine from November 1993 to November 1994, then with Reader's Digest from November 1990 to October 1993. Trip also served as the Annual Fund Director and Development Officer at Lakeside School from February 1997 to September 2002, where they also coached rowing.
Trip Switzer's educational career would involve completing a type AB degree in history from Harvard University.
