Katie (Hayes) Vandenabeele serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston since September 2022, bringing extensive experience in finance and administration. Previously held key roles at Harvard University Health Services, including Senior Director of Administration and Finance, overseeing financial and administrative functions for a $175M operation. Also served as Director of Plan Operations and Member Services, managing health plan operations for approximately 30,000 members. Prior to that, Vandenabeele was a Senior Financial Analyst at Harvard University’s Office of Financial and Strategic Planning and held various financial roles at Harvard Business School. Early career experience includes a research position at Washington Service Associates. Vandenabeele holds a B.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University, an MBA from Boston College, and studied at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
