Anne Nishimura Morse currently serves as the William and Helen Pounds Senior Curator of Japanese Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, a position held since July 1985. In addition, Anne Nishimura Morse was the Cal French Distinguished Visiting Professor of Japanese Art at the University of Michigan from September 2022 to May 2023. Anne Nishimura Morse holds a Ph.D. in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University.
