Candice Cavanagh

Curator of Public Programmes at Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada

Candice Cavanagh is an experienced curator currently serving as the Curator of Public Programmes at the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, Canada, since July 2021, and previously held the position of TD Public Program and Learning Fellow. Prior experience includes roles at Ontario Heritage Trust as a Digital Collections Assistant and Virtual Exhibitions Assistant from November 2020 to June 2021, and as a Virtual Programs Instructor at Varley Art Gallery of Markham in mid-2020. Candice also worked as a Curatorial and Collections Assistant at Salford Museum & Art Gallery and has held various roles at Varley Art Gallery of Markham, including Camp Director and Instructor. Additionally, Candice contributed as an Educator at McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Art Gallery and Museum Studies from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Art History from Queen's University.
