Christopher Taylor is an experienced executive in the arts sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Museum of Boulder since June 2024. Previously, Taylor held the position of Executive Director at the Pilchuck Glass School, managing a budget of $4.7 million, and at The Clay Studio, overseeing a $2.1 million budget. Taylor’s early career included roles such as Executive Director at the Holter Museum of Art and Associate Director for the Three Rivers Arts Festival, with responsibilities ranging from financial management to programming. Taylor also has a background in community development and cultural programming through positions at Center on Halsted, Aliquippa Alliance for Unity & Development, and Northside Leadership Conference. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Arts Administration & Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and dual Bachelor degrees in Religion/Religious Studies and Sculpture from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
