On-call Preparator, Art Preparation And Installation at MUSEUM ASSOCIATES

Anna Nelson has a diverse work experience in various art-related positions. Anna has worked as a Temporary Preparator at The Huntington, On-call Preparator at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Temporary Preparator at Hammer Museum, and Preparator at 18th Street Arts Center. Additionally, they have been self-employed as an Artist/Designer since 2008, specializing in woodblock printmaking. Anna has also worked as a Library Preparator at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Art Preparator at MOCA | The Museum of Contemporary Art, Book Seller at Skylight Books, and Apprentice Art Preparator at The Broad, where they received specialized training in art handling. Prior to that, they worked at the Los Angeles Public Library as an Administrative Clerk and Messenger Clerk, where they provided information and customer service to patrons, as well as conducted various library tasks. Overall, Anna Nelson has extensive experience in the art field and a strong background in library services.

Anna Nelson completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art and History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2014. In 2013 and 2014, they also studied Cantonese Language Studies and South-east Asian History at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to attending university, Anna Nelson graduated from Dos Pueblos High School between 2005 and 2009.
