Pilar Conesa serves as the President of Anteverti, a consultancy focused on innovation and sustainability for cities and organizations globally since 2011. Conesa is also the Congress Curator for the Smart City Expo World Congress, promoting sustainable urban development since its inception. Additional roles include President of the Business Council of the BIT Habitat Foundation, a member of the Board of Trustees at EADA Business School, and participation on the Supervisory Board of Barcelona Global. Conesa co-founded WERock Capital, advocating for women entrepreneurship and technological disruption, and served as the Commissioner for the 2030 Barcelona Metropolitan Strategic Plan, addressing urban challenges. Conesa's previous experience includes being the City CIO of Barcelona, where innovative eGovernment initiatives were advanced. An engineer in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and holding executive degrees from IESE Business School and ESMT Berlin, Conesa’s contributions significantly impact the urban landscape and governance.
