Julie Lofthouse is a seasoned professional in archival management and collections information systems. Currently serving as Manager of Collections Information Systems at the Royal Ontario Museum since May 2015, Lofthouse also held the roles of CMS Database Specialist and Administrator. Previous experience includes a contract position as Media Archivist at TVO in 2015, and over nine years as an Archivist at The Film Reference Library, TIFF, where responsibilities encompassed all aspects of archival management for special collections. Lofthouse's earlier roles included Special Project Archivist at the Archives of Ontario and a contractor at Library and Archives Canada, focusing on preservation services. Lofthouse holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies from Carleton University and a Certificate in Film/Audiovisual Preservation & Archiving from The L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation at George Eastman House.
