Carla Barbero is currently the Curadora en Jefe at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires. Carla has held this position since July of 2017 and will continue to hold it until July of 2022. Prior to their current role, they served as the Curadora at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires from July 2017 to July 2022. Additionally, they have served as the Curadora at Unidad B谩sica Museo de arte contempor谩eno de C贸rdoba and at Centro Cultural C贸rdoba de la Agencia C贸rdoba Cultura del Gobierno de la Provincia. Carla has also worked as the Coordinadora del Taller de Producci贸n y Pensamiento en Artes Visuales at the Fondo Nacional de las Artes and as a Docente de Est茅tica en el Curso de Curadur铆a at 220 Cultura Contempor谩nea.

Carla Barbero has a degree in Specialization in Processes and Practices of Contemporary Art Production from Universidad Nacional de C贸rdoba and a degree in Communication Sciences from Universidad Nacional de R铆o Cuarto.
