Dave Schellenberg is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency services, culinary arts, and hospitality. As an instructor for St. John Ambulance MB, NT & NU since September 2023 and an Emergency Response Coordinator at Southeast Resource Development Council Corp. since November 2022, Schellenberg demonstrates a commitment to enhancing emergency preparedness. A longstanding member of the Winnipeg Beach Fire Department since 2010, with roles ranging from Fire Chief to Firefighter, Schellenberg has developed extensive leadership and operational skills in fire services. In addition to emergency roles, Schellenberg has a rich culinary background, having served as Executive Chef for multiple lodges in northern Manitoba, where responsibilities included kitchen management and staff training. Schellenberg holds a diploma in Culinary Arts from RRC Polytech and has furthered education through the Manitoba Emergency Services College.
