Zachary Goldfarb, CEM, currently serves as the Chairman of the Emergency Management Committee for the Nassau County Fire Commission since June 2022, overseeing all-hazards emergency management efforts. As President of Incident Management Solutions, Inc. since 1999, Zachary leads a consulting firm focused on emergency planning and training. Zachary has held various roles within the Vigilant Engine & Hook & Ladder Company including Vice President and Emergency Management Coordinator, while also serving as an advisor for Muru Inc. Prior experience includes FireMedic and Emergency Management Coordinator at the East Meadow Fire Department, Technical Editor for FireEMS Magazine, and EMS Deputy Chief with the New York City Fire Department. Zachary began a distinguished career with the New York City Emergency Medical Service, where roles included Assistant Chief and Chief, contributing significantly to emergency management and operational practices. Educational credentials include a BS in Public Administration and Management from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and certifications in leadership and paramedic science.
