Mike Groeneweg is an experienced IT professional with a comprehensive background in network security and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Network Security Engineer and Senior Network Engineer at Murdoch University since November 2021, Mike has held significant roles in various organizations, including as the District Commissioner and Scout Leader at Scouts WA, where volunteer contributions to the Radio & Technology Team were made. Prior experience includes a leadership position as Information Technology Manager at AARNet, where Mike oversaw a 24x7 Network Operations Centre. Mike's technical expertise is further demonstrated through roles such as Network Engineer at Bateman Primary School P&C, and Senior Communications Administrator at Murdoch University, specializing in IP routing and LAN switching. Mike holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Edith Cowan University and has additional qualifications in incident management and amateur radio.
