Christopher Osborne has extensive experience in urban planning and policy development, currently serving as Planning Manager at the Municipality of North Cowichan since May 2021. Prior to this role, Christopher worked at the City of Campbell River from July 2012 to May 2021 in various capacities including Manager of Long Range Planning & Sustainability and Senior Planner, focusing on complex development applications and long-range planning. Earlier experience includes serving as a Policy Development Officer and Planning Officer at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, where in-depth research and case management of planning applications were key responsibilities. Christopher's academic background includes an MPhys in Physics with Nuclear Astrophysics from the University of Surrey, an MA in Planning Policy & Practice from London South Bank University, and a Certificate in Public Administration from Capilano University.
