Thalia Meehan has an extensive career in finance and governance, currently serving as a Board Member for Safety Insurance and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board since 2017 and 2019, respectively. Meehan held a Board Member position at Cambridge Trust Company until July 2024, concluding a tenure marked by the successful merger with Eastern Bank. Prior to these roles, successful career milestones include serving as Portfolio Manager and Head of the Tax Exempt Group at Putnam Investments from 1989 until retirement in 2016, and as a Credit Analyst at Colonial Investments and Bank of New England in the 1980s. Thalia Meehan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Williams College.
