José Andrés Valenzuela González is an experienced actuarial consultant with a strong background in reserving and actuarial services. Currently employed at Munich Re as a Consultant Reserving for GPO Reserving IFRS 17 since April 2022, José previously held the position of Senior Associate in Actuarial Services at PwC Deutschland, where responsibilities included developing tools for IFRS 17 projects and enhancing technical premium pricing assets. Prior to that, experience includes a Data Incubator Fellowship at Data Reply DE, whereby José focused on machine learning and analytical models, and a role as Pricing Actuary at BNP Paribas Cardif, providing analysis and business plans. The career began as an Actuarial Assistant at Gio Seg, C.A., specializing in insurance product configuration. José holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Universidad Central de Venezuela, obtained in 2014.
