Kathija "Kat" Ahmed is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently, Kat serves as Co-Founder & CEO of BasKat Catering in Athens, GA, offering a diverse range of cuisines and customized menu options. In addition, Kat holds an Executive Board Member position with the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, contributing to significant events such as annual awards and meetings. As Co-Founder and COO of Munch Hut, a convenience store and restaurant, Kat plays a vital role in operations. Previously, Kat was the Chief Operating Officer at EnrichHER, successfully connecting women-led businesses with funding sources. With experience in education and membership management at AAHOA, and past roles in community leadership and commercial lending, Kat possesses a robust background in strategic planning, customer service, and event management.
