Ivana Geric has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy and scientific research. Ivana started their career at Pharmacy "Jankovic" in 2013, where they worked as a Master of Pharmacy until 2014. Ivana then joined KU Leuven in 2014 as a PhD student and later transitioned to the role of Researcher from February 2019 to May 2019. In 2019, Ivana joined VIB as a Postdoctoral Researcher and worked there until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Scientist at Muna Therapeutics, a position they began in October 2022.

Ivana Geric has a strong education background in the field of pharmacy. From 2004 to 2008, they attended High School ,,Jovan Jovanović Zmaj''. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at the University of Novi Sad from 2008 to 2013. Following this, they furthered their education at KU Leuven from 2014 to 2019, obtaining a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree in Immunometabolism.
