Mayur Puntambekar has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and project management, currently serving as DGM - Rolling Stock for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority since January 2021, focusing on the planning, commissioning, and establishment of Metro Depot and Rolling Stock for Mumbai's Line 2 and 7. Formerly, Mayur held various positions at Siemens from December 2007 to January 2021, including Manager, where responsibilities included project management and maintenance of EMU Trains, and Senior Executive, focusing on warranty support and product engineering. Mayur's career began as an Electrical Engineer at Bharat Bijlee Ltd in 2007 and as a Trainee Engineer at ASB International Pvt. Ltd. in 2006. Mayur completed an Electrical Engineering degree at S H Jondale Engineering College and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Shivajirao S Jondhale College of Engineering.
