Laura Holguin serves as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Multnomah Education Service District since October 2016, leading and supporting various HR functions while partnering with the HR Director on strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, Laura worked as an HR Business Partner with a focus on equitable HR practices and employee life cycle management. Laura's experience includes positions at Pacific Northwest College of Art as a Human Resource Associate and with the State of Oregon in various capacities related to child support and human services. Laura's early career includes supervisory roles at Starbucks and data entry work at Pacific Research and Evaluation. Currently pursuing an MBA at Willamette University, Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Portland State University.
