Daren Taber has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Detective, Threat Assessor, and Deputy Sheriff with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office since July 2015, in addition to roles such as PREA Investigator and West Side Community Resource Officer. Prior to this, Daren Taber worked as a Detective and Police Officer at the Troutdale Police Department from March 2008 to June 2015, gaining experience in evidence collection and court testimony. Daren Taber also held leadership positions, including Vice President of the Troutdale Police Officers Association, and served as a Gang Enforcement Officer with the East Metro Gang Enforcement Team. Additional qualifications include experience as a SWAT Operator and education from Columbia Southern University between 2013 and 2020. Daren Taber is a member in good standing with the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals since February 2019.
