Dawn Buchanan, PhD, is a data coach and peer lead at Multiverse, specializing in personal and professional development through coaching sessions and technical workshops aimed at enhancing data literacy. With additional experience as a Cheeky Scientist Associate, Dawn supports doctoral candidates in transitioning to industrial roles. Previously, Dawn served as a PhD candidate at The University of Manchester, conducting research on sustainable cobalt recovery while managing teams in educational settings and supervising students in laboratory environments. Dawn's professional background also includes roles as an executive assistant and a sales representative, complemented by a strong academic foundation in Geomicrobiology and Geology from The University of Manchester.
