Alejandro Aguilar, MBA, CFA, serves as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst at Mercer Advisors since October 2023. With extensive experience in the financial sector, Alejandro previously held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager and Vice President at American Century Investments from 2003 to 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing approximately $8 billion in securitized segments of multi-asset portfolios, leading a team of Portfolio Managers, and significantly increasing assets under management from $1 billion to $10 billion. Prior to this, Alejandro worked as an Investment Officer at the California Public Employees' Retirement System and as a Director, MBS Analyst, and ABS Analyst at TIAA-CREF. Alejandro earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
