Michal Dorsett has extensive work experience in software engineering. Michal is currently employed at Sightful as a Senior Software Engineer since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a Software Engineer from February 2021 to October 2022. Michal also worked at IBM as a Senior Cloud Developer from March 2018 to February 2021. Before joining IBM, they held the position of Real-Time Software Engineer at Verint from January 2011 to March 2018. In addition, they have previous experience as an Embedded Software Engineer at Juniper Networks from February 2008 to January 2011 and as an Embedded Software Developer at Veraz Networks from October 2003 to January 2008. Michal began their career as a Software Developer and Team Leader at Eagle Research from June 1998 to July 2003.

From 1989 to 1992, Michal Dorsett attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Music.
